RFB for Physical Education Building Demolition

Description: Includes the complete demolition and removal of the physical education building. Gross Square Footage 64,365. All utilities servicing the building—including electrical, water, gas, and data—will be cut and capped by UTA within five feet of the building perimeter prior to demolition activities. The demolition contractor will be responsible for the full removal of the concrete structure, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including selective demolition and replacement of adjacent concrete surfaces as required to restore the site. Additionally, the contractor shall protect or remove designated trees, signage, handrails, fencing and sidewalks. Outdoor swimming pool and concrete deck is 24,666 SF. The site shall be graded to a level condition suitable for future development or landscaping, free of concrete, stones and clumps of dirt. All debris and materials generated during demolition shall be hauled off-site by the contractor, with an emphasis on recycling and salvaging materials wherever feasible to support sustainability goals.
