MIT Collaborative Research - SOLE SOURCE RFP
A requirement for MIT Collaborative Research Funding. This effort builds directly upon the successful completion of the initial Adaptive Envelope Protection research collaboration, during which a computational framework was established for learning runtime safety assurance capabilities using online and offline data-driven learning methods. The initial effort demonstrated the feasibility of integrating neural-network system identification, learning-based nominal control policies, policy neural control barrier function (PNCBF) safety filters, robust safety filtering concepts, and learning-based control allocation into a unified Adaptive Envelope Protection architecture within a high-fidelity eVTOL simulation environment.
