Requesting Input on a Proposed Relinquishment of Selected State Entitlement Lands- GS-5444 (Chilkoot River))

Description: The Department of Natural Resources is requesting public input on relinquishing the State’s selected surface estate while retaining oil, gas, and mineral interests on approximately 320 acres in Township 27 South, Range 56 East, Sections 24 and 25. The proposed relinquishment would facilitate conveyance of Dingell Act allotment applications 97380 and 98484, each covering 160 acres, while the land remains under federal management and ownership. Written comments must be received by 3:00 PM on October 27, 2026, and may be submitted by email or postal mail to Aleria Knudson.
