The following scopes are being considered as part of the 2024 Levy modernization: Upgrade boiler system and remaining air handling units; modernize locker rooms and restrooms; update windows, doors and railings; upgrade fire/life/safety systems; upgrade lighting and electrical systems; modernize PE and support spaces; and expand front entrance for improved access. The owner and GC/CM seek to partner with the mechanical, plumbing and electrical contractor near the schematic design phase to provide budgeting, design review, site and construction logistics, scheduling, sustainability and diversity goals for the project and to bring our MEP partners early on to provide a high level of leadership, experience and knowledge related to MEP systems for the project and expects there will be a fiscal benefit through early cost certainty. The owner and GC/CM seek highly experienced ECCM/MCCM firms to participate in project goals through preconstruction, design and construction and will work collaboratively with the GC/CM and owner to maximize the value and quality of the project.
