Request for Information Commercial Clay Source for New Orleans to Venice (NOV), Louisiana (LA) Projects Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System

Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued this open Request for Information to identify commercial clay sources capable of supporting the New Orleans to Venice, Louisiana Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System projects. Approximately 5,000,000 cubic yards of clay material are needed, and the information will support acquisition planning, project-requirement refinement, and future procurement strategies. Responses are due August 31, 2026, and the related construction contracts are anticipated to be awarded between the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 and the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2030, with construction expected to conclude by the end of 2035.
