The City of Fairhope is requesting responses from qualified contractors to provide Right of Way Clearing and Vegetation Management at City of Fairhope Electrical Department substations on an Annual Contract. The purpose of this contract is for the Contractor to provide proper pruning and/or removal of trees, shrubs, vines and other vegetation which are in contact with, or have the potential (in the Utility maintenance zone, easement, or as described herein) to come in contact with power lines owned and/or operated by City of Fairhope Electrical Department. All pruning shall be done in accordance with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), ANSI A300 guidelines, and the ISA Best Management Practices books: "Utility Pruning of Trees" and "Tree Pruning" which complement the ANSI standard.
