Description: In general, the work consists of: encapsulation of former indoor firing ranges at multiple National Guard armories. The former indoor firing ranges are to be completely cleaned according to the drawings and specifications. Encapsulation is typically coating of structural roof deck and perimeter walls with a lead encapsulating paint. Encapsulation of floors is achieved by installing an epoxy flooring over existing concrete slabs. Some facilities have existing floor finishes - carpet, vinyl tile - that will be removed. The project includes replacement of light fixtures inside the firing ranges.
