Sterling Point Recreation Center Fitness Improvements
Proposed improvements generally consist of renovating and enclosing an existing open-air patio associated with the community pool building to create a fully enclosed, climate-controlled recreational space. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Building and Architectural Improvements - Enclosure and renovation of the existing patio area to provide a complete, code-compliant, climate-controlled recreational space, including modifications to the exterior building envelope; walls, windows and glazing; doors, frames and hardware; ceilings and interior finishes; roofing and waterproofing modifications; and other architectural improvements necessary for a complete and functional facility. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Improvements - HVAC systems required to condition the enclosed space; modifications and extensions to existing electrical, lighting, plumbing and related building systems; controls; and associated improvements necessary to support the proposed recreational use.
