The Regency parkway reconstruction project generally consists of demolition and removal of the existing roadway, sidewalks, and curbs, the construction of new integral curb with new concrete roadway pavement, storm improvements, sidewalks, driveways, a mid-block crossing with RRFB and street lighting throughout the improved roadway corridor along Regency Parkway between Zumbehl Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Reconstruction of approx. 2 miles, roadway improvements include full-depth reconstruction of existing pavement with 3" of asphalt pavement; 8" of asphalt-treated black base; and 8" of cement-treated subgrade. Includes replacing cross culverts, upsizing driveway culverts, and storm sewer pipe replacement at the University Drive intersection.

The existing drive and large culvert to be removed. The reconstructed entrance drive and 92 feet long box culvert will be constructed per INDOT standards. Reconstructed channel banks will be laid back and stabilized with erosion control measures and seeded. Channel bottom to be armored at the box culvert ends.

The Beach Access Vehicular Ramp at Seaview Ave was destroyed during Hurricane Ian in 2022, and the project will reconstruct it to restore safe pedestrian and vehicle access to the beach. The work includes composite sheet pile seawall panels, a concrete cap, a reinforced concrete vehicular ramp, curbing, a pedestrian sidewalk, and site restoration. The site is in a residential section of Daytona Beach east of A1A.
