Description: The Marine Resources Commission is seeking bids from a qualified marine repair facility to overhaul the drivetrain and redesign the auxiliary hydraulic system on its 41-foot fiberglass workboat. Bidders may propose replacement of the Twin Disc transmission if inspection finds catastrophic hard-part or casing failure, or rebuild the existing transmission with OEM parts, new seals, a dampener plate, and gaskets, followed by pressure testing and a bench check. Work must be performed by certified Twin Disc representatives or agents at a facility within 20 miles of Queens Creek Marina, and the Commission will transport the vessel to and from the facility.
