Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Project, City of Estacada RFP
The scope of work generally consists of retrofitting the existing water treatment facility with membrane filtration technology. The general contractor's work includes installation of three 1.3 MGD pre-purchased membrane skids and support equipment, and pre-purchased automatic transfer switch, staged demolition of the existing 2 MGD rapid sand filters and support equipment, construction of new partitions within the existing building to provide an office/lab, new electrical room, and new bathroom/locker facilities, new vehicle access door, and installation of multiple pumps and instrumentation. Site work includes renovation of an existing 75,000 gallon welded steel reservoir, installation of a pre-manufactured sewage grinder pump station with 700 feet of 1¼" force main, construction of two concrete backwash basins, and paving the access road to the plant.
