Description: Candler County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids for the 2026 LMIG / LRA Resurfacing Project to resurface specified county roads and perform related roadway work. The project scope includes resurfacing Rosemary Church Road (1.45 miles), St. Matthews Church Road (3.3 miles), deep patching on Canoochee Road for ~2 miles, and countywide striping across roughly 50 miles; contract documents and plans are available from EMC Engineering Services (Statesboro office) for a non-refundable fee. Bids are due September 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM local time, an optional pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM, and work must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
