Description: The University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG), through its Construction Manager at Risk Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC, is soliciting prequalification applications from qualified subcontractors for the UNCG Campus Steam & Condensate Infrastructure Improvements project, specifically Package B (BP-33B Sitework Utilities/Concrete Combo). The project involves demolition and replacement of the existing underground steam and condensate distribution loop between the Shaw Building and Jackson Library and by the Peabody Bridge, along with repair/replacement of disturbed landscaping and hardscaping. Bids will be accepted from pre-qualified 1st tier subcontractors only, with the prequalification deadline of August 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
