Description: UNC Greensboro is soliciting prequalification submissions from qualified contractors for the Campus Steam & Condensate Infrastructure Improvement - Package B project. The scope covers seven upcoming bid packages (BP-03A Concrete, BP-07A Waterproofing, BP-23A HVAC, BP-32A Site Hardscapes, BP-32B Landscaping, BP-33A Sitework/Utilities, and BP-33B Sitework Utilities/Concrete Combo) associated with replacing and renewing critical portions of the campus underground steam distribution system. The University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG), through its Construction Manager at Risk Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC, is soliciting prequalification applications from qualified subcontractors for the UNCG Campus Steam & Condensate Infrastructure Improvements project, specifically Package B (BP-33B Sitework Utilities/Concrete Combo). The project involves demolition and replacement of the existing underground steam and condensate distribution loop between the Shaw Building and Jackson Library and by the Peabody Bridge, along with repair/replacement of disturbed landscaping and hardscaping.
