The Maryland Aviation Administration is soliciting bids for bulk liquid potassium acetate deicer fluid for BWI Thurgood Marshall and Martin State airports on an as-needed basis. The product must meet FAA-approved SAE AMS 1435D and specified ASTM standards, with bulk deliveries of approximately 4,400 gallons within 24 hours of ordering, plus required technical documentation and staff training. The one-year contract is expected to support up to approximately 100,000 gallons per snow season and will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
