Police Promotional Testing

The City of Gainesville is soliciting proposals to provide two promotional testing processes covering the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, and Lieutenant for the Gainesville Police Department, including a 100-item multiple-choice exam for each rank and multiple assessment-center exercises. The selected vendor will develop, administer, and provide secure hard-copy and digital materials, conduct candidate orientations, and may perform the work January 2026–July 31, 2027 with an optional one-year extension to July 31, 2028. The solicitation includes attachments (testing materials, orientations, draft contract, proposal & cost form) and requires bidders to have at least three years’ experience in police promotional processes and to follow submission procedures through the City’s procurement portal.
