Permanent Repair of Landslide Damaged Clallam Bay Water Main

Description: Replace approx. 3,500 LF of existing above-ground 6" HDPE water main with new 8" HDPE DR 9 or 11 water main with 14" HDPE DR 9 or 11 casing pipe using horizontal directional boring methods. Install gate valves, approx. four water service installations including customer side tie-in; one fire hydrant assembly, and five 2" combination air release/vacuum valve assemblies. Test new mains and final connections to existing Clallam Bay Sekiu Water System. Install a precast concrete vault and electrical and control conduit for a future pressure reducing valve (PRV) station. Remove, salvage, and deliver existing above-ground 6" HDPE water main to the owner, abandon existing below-ground water mains in-place, remove, haul and dispose of AC pipe in compliance with all requirements. Perform asphalt concrete pavement patching and surface restoration and pavement grind and overlay.
