Montgomery County, Maryland, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to furnish, install, and support a parking counting system for two (2) County-owned public parking garages.
AvailableParking garage special inspections. The owner will employ a testing laboratory to perform the following tests and to submit test reports to the architect. Prior to the start of construction, the approved agencies shall provide written documentation to the building official demonstrating the competence and relevant experience or training of the parking garage special inspectors who will perform the parking garage special inspections and test during construction. The testing laboratory shall keep records of all inspections and shall furnish inspection reports to the code official and the architect of record. Discovered discrepancies shall be brought to the immediate attention of the contractor for correction. The testing agency shall conduct and interpret tests and state in each report whether test specimens comply with requirements. Any deviations from the project requirements are to be explicitly stated. The testing agency shall sign and seal all test reports by a professional engineer licensed in the state of new jersey. A final report of parking garage special inspections documenting completion of all required parking garage special inspections and correction of any discrepancies should be submitted prior to issuance of a certificate of use and occupancy.
