PA 1901 - CATCH BASIN CLEANOUT SERVICES

Description: The City of Jurupa Valley Public Works Department has a total of 974 Catch Basins throughout the City which must be cleaned. These basins collect trash, sediment, debris, organics and standing water which prevent proper drainage of storm water runoff during the rainy season. Contractor will be responsible for all cleaning and proper disposal of collected material in accordance with all laws and regulations.   The City anticipates cleaning a minimum of approximately 384 storm drains with installed Full Capture Devices (FCDs) annually during the term of the Agreement. Subject to budget availability, inspection results, and operational needs, the City may authorize the cleaning of additional storm drains, up to a maximum of 974 storm drains per contract year. The actual number of storm drains serviced each year will be determined by the city based on available funding, inspection results, and operational requirements.
