The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Department of General Services) issued an ITQ titled "Elevator & Mechanical Movers Service" to qualify contractors to provide maintenance, repair, and limited component-level modernization services for elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, handicap lifts, tramways, travelators and other lifting devices used by state agencies. The contract covers statewide use, is administered by the Department of General Services (Bureau of Procurement), and has an initial five-year term with an optional five-year renewal covering 07/01/2026 through 06/30/2031. Suppliers must register as PA suppliers and submit qualifications electronically through the JAGGAER portal; the PA eMarketplace lists the primary solicitation documents (Statement of Work and Terms & Conditions).

Work inlcudes construction of a new 4,500 sf pre-engineered metal building with brick veneer, including foundations, plumbing, oil/water separator, mechanical and electrical work, and associated site, grading, drainage, utility and erosion-control work, disassembly of an existing metal building at that site and removal off site of its slab and associated concrete work demolition and off-site disposal of the masonry walls enclosing the existing generator set and fuel tank and of the concrete slab on which they sit, after the generator set and tank are removed under a separate county contract; and (3) relocation and re-erection of the disassembled metal building, with new wall and roof panels, insulation and trim, including new foundation, mechanical and electrical work.
