OC SS 27-01 Intent to Award Sole Source to Trane Tech Corp

Description: Replace/Upgrade Building Automation System Controls Design Phase Otero College intends to award a sole source contract to Trane Technologies Corp. for the design phase of Project 2027-029M26, Replace/Upgrade Building Automation System Controls. The Colleges existing infrastructure and the VRF conversion currently underway in its two largest academic facilities incorporate Trane controls. The design must integrate with these proprietary controls and associated software to maintain system compatibility, centralized monitoring, and continuity of support, including 24/7 customer support and AI monitoring capabilities. Any protest to this determination must be submitted in writing to Jennifer.Johnston@otero.edu, detailing the basis for the protest.
