O' Brien Avenue Railroad Crossing Water Main

Description: Project generally consists of the following major items: •Replacement of the existing 12” cast iron water main from O’Brien Ave to Edgewood PI, with 1,035 linear feet of new 12” diameter C151 ductile iron pipe and fittings.\r •Installation of approximately 312 linear feet of 24” diameter steel casing jack and bore across BNSF railway right-of-way and installing associated cathodic protection.\r •Abandoning existing water main in-place under the BNSF railway right-of-way (existing water main under the railroad tracks will be abandoned by pressure grouting).\r •Installation of 334 linear feet of new 8” diameter C900 PVC pipe and fittings along Railway St. \r •Asphalt replacement along water main installation on O’Brien Ave, Railway St, and in parking lot south of Edgewood Pl.
