Description: Requirements for the equipment to be procured for OBO supported overseas facilities. The intent of this contract is to meet the parameters set forth by the Office of Fire Protection in the timely procurement and supply of these materials which are necessary to maintain, repair, and support OBO/OPS/FIRE systems in accordance with published fire and life safety codes. OBO/OPS/FIRE develops project specifications for these systems, based on Department of State fire protection objectives, but does not necessarily select the brand of equipment. Fire Protection Systems are essential to providing life safety in our buildings and must be maintained. All Department of State principal buildings require alarm and detection systems, to comply with adopted codes, standards, Department policy, and Federal laws. Many of these systems were installed using Notifier products to meet Department of State project specifications. The parts required by this BPA are essential to maintaining these systems in an operational condition.
