NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS OF CONSTRUCTION BIDS

Description: The City of Troy, Alabama, is soliciting sealed bids for construction of concrete sidewalks along North Three Notch Street under Federal Aid Project No. TAPUC-TA26(927), making this a construction procurement rather than a grant program. The work includes approximately 2,491 square yards of 4-inch concrete sidewalk, 380 square yards of 6-inch concrete driveway with wire mesh, removal of 2,389 square yards of existing sidewalk, removal of 883 linear feet of curb, and installation of 883 linear feet of Type A concrete curb; estimated cost is $650,000-$750,000. Bids must be received at Troy City Hall by 2:00 p.m. on September 2, 2026, when they will be publicly opened.
