Notice of Intent - Sole Source Extension - Glenn Engineering and Research Support (GEARS)

Description: NASA Glenn Research Center is seeking capability statements to assess whether it should compete a temporary extension of its existing Glenn Engineering and Research Support (GEARS) contract, which it intends to award sole-source to HX5, LLC absent a reason to compete. The work covers engineering, scientific, and research support across GRC core competencies, as well as facilities, testing, manufacturing engineering, project management, the research and engineering support environment, and configuration/data management and scheduling. The contemplated extension is six months from March 31 to September 30, 2027, with an optional additional six-month extension through March 31, 2028; capability submissions are due by email by 1:00 pm EST on November 5, 2026.
