The Army Medical Logistics Agency (AMLC) is soliciting contractor support to augment lifecycle management, sustainment, and modernization of medical materiel and equipment, including management of Army Supply Class VIII and Medical Logistics Support Team functions. The contractor will provide personnel and management to support AMLC in building and managing medical materiel sets and global APS site support. Army Medical Logistics Agency(AMLC) provides Medical Materiel Support to all Army Components facilitating optimal healthcare and worldwide medical readiness through Army Prepositioned Sites (APS), Unit Deployment Packages (UDP), Medical Materiel Readiness Program (MMRP), Foreign Military Sales (FMS); and Medical Chemical Defense Materiel (MCDM), the management of on-hand medical materiel inventory, and the provision of technical assistance for medical materiel sustainment operations.The AMLC Force Projection Directorate (FPD) provides strategic planning, execution and centralized management of Class VIII contingency materiel as directed by the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) and the Office of the OTSG under the MMRP and UDP to ensure sufficient medical operating capability and certain follow-on requirements across the globe as needed by the Combatant Commander (COCOMs.)AMLC is the largest Department of Defense (DoD) medical materiel agency designed to protect and preserve the lives of Warfighters. AMLC procures, assembles, stores, and pre-positions medical devices, materiel, and equipment at APS sites that enhances readiness through pre-positioned medical materiel to ensure the highest quality medical care is available for the US Army and DoD and maximizing survival of medical casualties on the battlefield.AMLC requires Contractor support to augment its core skills and technologies, which center on conducting life cycle management for commercial and non-developmental items, sustaining, and modernizing the medical force, supporting exercises and contingency operations, and promoting medical logistics information and knowledge. Successful efforts to sustain the force require avenues for the early detection and resolution of medical logistics problems and issues affecting unit and materiel readiness.AMLC FPD manages the ordering, packaging and storage of medical materiel and equipment in various APS sites around the globe to issue to deploying units for exercise or real-world missions, procures and maintains UDPs at various locations, purchases and reconstitutes sustainment materiel as necessary that provides material and equipment for medical entities to provide necessary care of battlefield injuries. This requirement is for the contractor to provide all personnel and management necessary to support Army Medical Logistics Agency (AMLC) in this mission. The Contractor shall provide Management Analysis Support Management Analysis Support Services for AMLC Logistics. Services to assist in the management of Army Supply Class VIII (SC VIII) Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) of Sets, Kits, and Outfits (SKOs), Medical Logistics Support Team (MLST) functions as outlined in this DRAFT PWS and set building process in support of building Medical Materiel and Medical Equipment Sets.
