Northgate Elevated Tank Repainting Project RFP

Description: Work includes elevated water tank surface preparation, painting and miscellaneous repairs: this contract consists of repainting and miscellaneous improvements to a 250,000 gallon spheroid elevated water tower. The estimated low water line is 102.75 feet from nameplate. The improvements include the following: exterior surface: high pressure water cleaning (5,000 to 10,000 psi), spot power tool clean to a sspc-sp11 standard, and application of a three (3) coat epoxy urethane system. Pit piping: abrasive blast clean to a sspc-sp6 commercial standard, and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Altitude vault: abrasive blast clean to a sspc-sp6 commercial standard existing piping as shown. Remove existing altitude valve as shown and apply (2) coat epoxy system. Make air handling intake duct improvements as shown. Foundation: water clean and apply two (2) coat epoxy system. Cathodic protection system furnish and install.
