The NW 17th Street Storm Sewer & Pavement Improvements project includes reconstructing street pavement and storm sewer structures. The construction improvements include approximately 3,300 SY of 7” thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement, 380 LF of storm sewer, 1,700 LF of subdrain, Class 10 excavation, subgrade preparation, modified subbase, driveways, sidewalks, permanent surface restoration, temporary traffic control, mobilization, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project.

In addition, 110' of 8" PVC sanitary sewer and associated siphon inlet and outlet manholes will be installed. A gravel access drive will be constructed within an existing sewer easement north of the bridge to provide access to the proposed siphon outlet manhole. New sanitary sewer will be connected to existing manholes. A flushing hydrant will be installed on the west side of the bridge near the siphon inlet manhole to provide necessary appurtenances for convenient flushing and maintenance. The project also includes the installation of a 4" sanitary lateral to service a homeowner s future development, as well as sewer abandonment and minor electrical demolition work.
