The State of Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is soliciting professional design services to remove and replace existing wood windows in the Educational Building at the North Central Correctional Facility. The selected firm will provide design deliverables including construction drawings and specifications, coordinate with the State Historic Preservation Office, and provide construction administration over an estimated 240-day project. The solicitation identifies required proposal contents (qualifications, approach, schedule, fee) and reserves the States rights to accept, reject, or negotiate proposals.

Air handling unit (AHU) replacement.

Work includes replace chilled water coils, supply fan motors and return fan motors and will convert existing pneumatic to ddc controls. The motors, drives and controls are accessible from the mechanical room next to the air handling unit. The chilled water coils on the ground floor are accessible through the same mechanical room. The chilled water coils on floors 1 through 3 are accessible through the outside air louvers.
