DESIGN-BUILD: Sump Improvement project includes the installation of four 60" reinforced concrete pipes. Design-build contract for ada improvements. Scope includes complete design, demolition, reconstruction, testing, and commissioning of all work as outlined in the solicitation documents. Major components: new elevator / installation -holeless hydraulic elevator. Staircase construction -replacing 3 existing escalators with a new staircase. Supporting infrastructure -temporary barriers will be installed to allow safe passenger access during construction. Work includes: demolition of existing escalators and slabs; construction of the new staircase and elevator (with a control room); installation of associated electrical, mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, safety, and signage systems to meet code and operational requirements.
