Participate in moderated discussions, panel conversations, and audience engagement activities focused on the American Revolution, civic leadership, and the nation’s founding. Provide historical interpretation that connects South Carolina’s Revolutionary experience to the broader American story. Support promotional and media activities associated with the symposium, including interviews, publicity opportunities, and related communications efforts as mutually agreed. Engage with sponsors, partners, educators, civic leaders, and invited guests as part of symposium activities. Contribute to the educational goals of SC250 by presenting historically accurate, compelling, and accessible content for diverse audiences. Assist in positioning Charleston and South Carolina as leading contributors to the national America250 commemoration through high-profile public programming.

The scope includes updates to existing interpretive panels and graphics; replacement and repair of flooring, scenic, and structural elements; lighting and display upgrades; and the addition of new interpretive components that align with the original exhibit design and fabrication. The work is intended to preserve exhibit integrity, improve durability, ensure accuracy, and enhance the overall visitor experience.

Provide highly detailed focus groups along with specialized data collection directly related to the work done by SC250 within the African American community. This work will guide demonstrate how the messaging of the 250 commemoration of South Carolina's role in the American Revolution has been received by the community. This information, feedback and data collection will drive future messaging and engagement to ensure all voices are heard and recognized.
