Nipmuc Regional High School Roof Replacement

Description: The Project consists of a comprehensive roof replacement, including the removal of existing asphalt shingle, EPDM, and standing seam metal roofing systems, along with existing rooftop mechanical equipment. Work includes installation of new asphalt shingle, TPO, and standing seam roofing systems with tapered and non-tapered insulation and recovery board, replacement and upgrades to roof drainage components, edge metal, and overflow systems to meet current code requirements, and installation of new rooftop mechanical equipment in-kind to existing. Additional work includes extension of plumbing vents, installation of new curbs and roof penetrations as required, replacement of roof access elements such as ladders and hatches, installation of new safety railings, modifications to flashing to accommodate increased insulation and comply with current energy code requirements, installation of a new lightning protection system, and structural and electrical provisions necessary to provide a solar-ready condition for the gymnasium roof.
