NAVFAC Special Notice of FY 2027 Industrialized Construction Projects for Barracks and Child Development Centers via Other Transaction Authority (10 USC 2808a)

Description: NAVFAC is issuing a Special Notice under the authority of 10 USC 2808a (Other Transaction Authority) to notify industry of FY 2027 Industrialized Construction projects for Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (Barracks) and Child Development Centers. The projects are required to use advanced manufacturing or Industrialized Construction (IC) methods, replacing piecemeal construction with prefabricated, factory-built components to accelerate delivery of permanent shore facilities. Responses/white papers are due by October 1, 2026 from potential offerors for future OT awards; this is NOT a grant program and remains Active as of the current date.
