The project includes providing an elevator, adding building wide sprinkler system, and fire alarm system. Hazardous materials abatement, structural replacement/repairs, power distribution and system upgrades, building envelope repairs, interior space renovations, utility upgrades, and incidental related work. Phasing and coordination with shipyard operations is paramount and mission critical elements need to remain fully operational throughout the duration of the project. Building 60 is an historic facility and requires special coordination to have limited impact on the historic fabric and character defining features of the structure.
