Acquire Three Fiberglass Aquaculture Tanks. Scope Summary: Three 10-F round, 3-F deep fiberglass aquaculture tanks are needed at Bears Bluff NFH to provide housing for fish and other aquatic species in fish production buildings. Specifications for these tanks are listed below. Pricing must include all costs for providing the tanks with the specifications requested, including delivery to the Bears Bluff National Fish Hatchery during normal hours of operation. Services Requested: The contractor shall provide three round fiberglass aquaculture tanks. All tanks shall be constructed to the same specifications as outlined below: Tanks shall be round, sectional (two-piece) fiberglass construction. Internal tank depth, measured from inside tank bottom to tank lip, shall be 3-F. Sump (bottom, center, inside tank): 6” deep recessed sump in center of tank capable of receiving 6” sch 40 PVC pipe (standpipe). The top lip of 6” sump to have a 0.5” wide x 0.5” deep step to accept an exclusion screen (screen and standpipe not included in quote). Coupler (bottom, center, outside tank): 3” PVC (slip X slip), sch 40. Installed on bottom of tank, cast flush in bottom of tank to allow for complete drainage. See attached file.
