Water Service Line Material Identification Project.
Description: Work generally consists of "soft" vacuum excavation of approx. 575 public and private water service lines at the curb box for structures. It is the Contractor's responsibility to locate all water service curb boxes within the project limits prior to construction for PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit submission. Soft excavation encompasses discovery and identification of each service line on both sides of the curb box and recording of material of construction and preparation of all associated inspection reports in accordance with the Contract Documents.
