Montgomery Park ADA Bathroom – Interior Improvement Project RFP

Description: Sealed Bids for the construction of the Montgomery Park ADA Bathroom - Interior Improvement Project will be received electronically via PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Montgomery Borough until 11:00 A.M. local time on Friday November 20th, 2026, at which time they will be unsealed, with bid results posted publicly on PennBid via a Public Notice shortly thereafter. Bidding and Contract Documents may be viewed and downloaded online at no cost on PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Following registration, complete sets of Bidding & Contract Documents may be downloaded from the website as portable document format (PDF) files. The cost of printing Bidding and Contract Documents will be the sole responsibility of the interested party. For questions pertaining to access and use of the website, contact PennBid at 610-693-4769, or by email at info@pennbid.net. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on November 5th, 2026 at the Montgomery Borough Office, located at 35 S. Main Street, Montgomery, PA 17752. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him. The Contractor shall ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap status; and comply with the Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause included in the Supplementary Conditions, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, federal and Pennsylvania laws and regulations, relating to non-discrimination and sexual harassment, drug-free workplaces and disadvantage business enterprises. Montgomery Borough reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the total of all bid items. Demolition of the current southern bathroom wall to open into storage room space. Erection of wall to enclose bathroom on the west side to re-enclose space. Adding of waterproofing sidings to all bathroom walls. Remove of old laminate flooring and installation of new laminate flooring. Installation of new toilet and sink. Installation of wall outlets. Installation of ventilation and motor. Installation of ADA fixtures to bring bathroom up to ADA compliance. Installation of wall outlets, light fixture and light switch. Installation of ventilation and motor. Installation of new toilet and sink. Adding of waterproofing sidings to all bathroom walls. Installation of ADA fixtures to bring bathroom up to ADA compliance. North utilities room update. Replace current sink with free standing utilities sink with goose neck faucet. Removal of toilet and capping.
