Mobility - 4th Street - Livingston Avenue to Chestnut Street (Request for Proposals)

Description: Project consists of installing a signature multi-modal facility connecting multiple existing and future improvements within the downtown area. The project will include a separated bike lane configuration with the bike lanes behind a proposed median. Signalized intersections will be improved to physically separate bikeway users from motor vehicle traffic. This project will also include the next phase of the capital line project along 4th st. Multiple traffic signals will either be impacted or fully replaced. The contract will begin with preliminary engineering (pe) to determine the alignment to be advanced to detailed design, the extent of landscaping improvements, drainage solutions, stormwater control practices, layout options at bridge crossings, intersection configuration, and impacts or modifications to both street lighting and traffic signals.
