Providing high-quality, direct support services to students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12. Student support services supplement regular classroom instruction and may take place inside or outside of school during the school day, before/after school or non-school days. Non-school days include weekends, summer break and school year vacation breaks. Services should provide students with a safe, engaging environment, opportunities for educational enrichment, and meaningful relationships with positive role models. Student support services providers should implement programs in collaboration with nycdoe schools and offices. Successful programs help students achieve positive academic outcomes, choose healthy lifestyles, increase self-confidence, and experience personal development and growth. Component a: student support services; leadership development and civic engagement; individual counseling; group counseling; mentoring; recreation/sports college/post-secondary planning; career awareness and the world of work; conflict resolution/peer mediation violence prevention/student safety; bullying prevention; substance abuse and problem gambling prevention and intervention; internet safety; school attendance improvement; family support services. Component b: academic enrichment services; tutoring/homework assistance; study/test-taking skills; academic skills enhancement; thematic project; family literacy.

Investigative Support: The Contractor shall provide support for civil and criminal investigations within the jurisdiction of DFC OIG. Required support shall include investigative planning, background research, evidentiary analysis, witness-related support, and preparation of investigative work products. The contractor shall provide timely, accurate, and well-supported investigative assistance that enables DFC OIG to assess allegations, develop facts, identify evidence, and advance investigative matters. Support under this requirement shall include, as directed by DFC OIG: Planning investigations in coordination with DFC OIG staff, including development of investigative approaches and theories of investigation. Conducting background investigations, including open-source research, to identify relevant individuals, entities, documents, data, and other potential sources of evidence. See attached file.
