The project consists of the rehabilitation at one of the township s existing sanitary pump station including removal of the existing air ejector system and tanks, piping and electrical components. Rehabilitation includes installation of new 6' diameter precast concrete wet well structure inside the existing steel structure, addition of a package pump station building with submersible pumps, above grade valving, and electrical components, underground connection to the existing force main and ancillary mechanical, electrical and site improvements. The existing natural gas generator and automatic transfer switch will be temporarily removed during construction and reinstalled. Sanitary sewage bypass pumping will be required to keep the existing incoming gravity sewer(s) in service during construction. Site dewatering may be required during excavation based on existing groundwater conditions.

Work includes approx 1,526 LF 6" force main via horizontal directional bore from the existing sanitary pumping station. The existing force main will be abandoned in place.
