Description: The work consists of satisfactory removal of all material above elevation -17.0-ft MLG from C/L Station (-)16+00 (Mile 6.5) to C/L Station 250+00 (Mile 1.3), of Mermentau River from the limits as specified and successfully deposited on the Gulf Shoreline west of the Mermentau jetties, as shown on the plans.

Work includes dredging accumulated sediment from the river, restoring the river's design cross-section and hydraulic capacity, stabilizing eroded banks through regrading, installing sod revetment mat systems, and restoring disturbed areas. The work consists of the dredging and disposal of material from the Tiger Pass Ship Channel. Approx. 2.25 million CY of material will be dredged from the channel to restore navigation. The dredged material will be disposed of via pipeline into disposal sites specified in the Plans and Specifications. All disposal sites will be single point discharge.
