Repair of the interior masonry wall damage, drywall, and roof decking at AFB.
Description: Pretoddler: Installation areas of interest include: Repair existing TREX to correct deficiencies (replace warped boards, ensure no tripping hazards, pinch points, etc); Level the concrete blocks along the perimeter fence with the adjacent surfacing; ensuring there are no trip hazards, exposed sharp edges/corners, entrapments, etc. Ensure fencing components do not have sharp points or edges, have smooth caps with no finials or sharp picket tops, no space between vertical elements more than 3.5", and no openings between 3/8" and 1" in size (pinch points). Provide, install, maintain, relocate, and remove temporary taxi lines and lighted barricades in accordance with the final negotiated phasing and maintenance of airfield traffic plans. Eliminate the possibility of foreign object damage (fod) by sweeping during all work periods and when directed by airfield management, all areas traversed by or under the influence of contractor’s work and equipment. Provide engineer of record (eor) services to create a signed and sealed issued for construction (100%) drawing and specification set based on the 35% bid documents, intervening government review comments, and the whole building design guidance, unified facilities criteria (ufc) and the unified facilities guide specification (ufgs). Mill and overlay-pave taxiway echo, golf, and lima. Prior to overlay paving inspect the milled surface and report to the government the extent and severity of visible cracks on the milled surface. Perform crack sealing of visible cracks on the milled surface as directed by the government. Install a geotextile, crack control fabric, pavement interlayer within taxiway lima overlay pavement. Remove, store and protect, as well as re-install after overlay paving taxiway golf and lima asphalt shoulder in-pavement lighting. Cover and protect in-pavement lighting bases. Provide location services and coring of overlay pavement as required to re-install lighting. This effort to be segmented and executed in accordance with the final negotiated phasing plan. Provide, maintain and remove airfield lighting circuiting as required to preserve the functionality of all in-pavement lighting to remain in place. This effort to be segmented and executed in accordance with the final negotiated phasing plan. Mill and overlay-pave taxiway golf and lima asphalt shoulders. Fog seal taxiway echo asphalt shoulders. Remove airfield pavement markings within taxiway echo asphalt shoulders, as well as beyond the limit of project paving and sealing as required to facilitate the final negotiated airfield marking plan. Remark airfield surfaces in accordance with the final negotiated airfield marking plan.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, facilities, materials, and services needed to perform and provide local access to the designated circuit demarcation point(s) identified in Appendix 1 to this PWS. These services shall include any equipment, wiring, or infrastructure to ensure the Contractor’s proposed solution is compatible with the Government’s current infrastructure without additional Government expense. Access to the local exchange shall also include operator assistance functions. These services shall not include residential or business services for non-Government entities or Government contractors. The Contractor shall follow all Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Public Utility Commission (PUC), Department of Defense (DoD), AF, and industry standards for this requirement.
