Materials Management Plan

Osceola County

Proposals to solicit qualified consultants to develop a comprehensive Materials Management Plan. This new plan will replace the existing Solid Waste Plan by shifting focus from waste disposal to a sustainable management system that emphasizes recycling, waste reduction, resource recovery, and a circular economy.

Ohio Environmental Protection Agency

Assist in the development of Ohio’s first ever statewide organic materials management plan. This Plan will further the goals for organic materials management in the State Solid Waste Management Plan by providing a comprehensive “roadmap” that illustrates how stakeholders can help advance organic materials prevention, reduction, recycling, and returning these materials to a circular economy as products.
