Heavy Civil General Contractor/Construction Manager - W100 Sodo Station (Request for Qualifications for Proposed Approach)
Provide civil general contractor/construction manager (GC/CM) services for construction of the W100 Sodo Station project. The project consists of constructing foundation, platforms, station structure and finished, vertical conveyance and other ancillary spaces, Sodo Station area site work and frontage, civil works for signal house and TPSS, roadway, site and utility work, relocation of 230kV transmission and co-located 26kV distribution circuits, Fourth Avenue South mitigation works to accommodate transfer of bus movement from the Fifth Avenue South busway to Fourth Avenue South, utility relocation including Sound Transit, City of Seattle, and third party owned, other work includes demolition, drilling shafts, clearing, grubbing, sound walls, road works, site improvements and site restoration. Major subcontracting opportunities may include: Water and sewer line and related structures construction; power and communication line and related structures construction; site preparation contractors; street; poured concrete foundation and structure contractors; other civil engineering construction; plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors; electrical contractors and other wiring installation contractors; all other specialty trade contractors; structural steel and precast concrete contractors; engineering services; and environmental consulting services.
