Maintenance agreement for a Quantum Design Cryocool system
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a sub-tier of the US Department of Commerce, published an active SAM.gov Special Notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source maintenance agreement with Quantum Design for the Quantum Design DynaCool cryocool system used with its Physical Property Measurement System. The requirement covers biannual maintenance, including replacement of the cold head, scroll pump, and adsorber, to keep the system operating for NIST's low-temperature materials research. This is a contract opportunity rather than a grant, and interested parties were invited to submit capability statements by August 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM EDT; the posting lists no attachments or file links.
