Description: The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation (Notice ID 75N98026Q00889) for the procurement of an LSM 990 Confocal Airyscan-2 Detector Microscope on a sole-source basis from Carl Zeiss Microscopy. The microscope is needed to support NIDCD's live cell imaging research on mouse cochlea organ of Corti explants, where the proprietary Airyscan-2 detector technology (32 channel GaAsP Array) is required to achieve the necessary 90nm XY and 200nm Z resolution for high-resolution imaging over multiple days. Quotes must be submitted electronically to Tina Robinson at robinsti@mail.nih.gov no later than 9:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time on August 6, 2026.
