Lower Snake River Recreational Study RFP
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive economic impact study of recreational opportunities associated with a free-flowing Lower Snake River under a dam-breach scenario. The work will analyze recreational fishing and broader water-based recreation, including consumer-surplus and input-output impacts and estimated facility-upgrade costs, and will produce interim findings, a draft report, a revised final report, and a final data package. This is an open consulting-services procurement rather than a grant program, with an estimated initial contract value of $230,000 and performance expected from mid-October 2026 through June 2027.
