The work for Contract No. 1: General Construction generally includes temporary removal and reinstallation of fencing to facilitate completion of work; bypass pumping to maintain flows around pump station to facilitate completion of work; removal of external piping where indicated; demolition of existing valve vault; removal of existing LP tank and tubing; trim tree limbs and branches around existing utility pole and refasten/tension existing guy cables; selective demolition of existing wet well; installation of internal wet well components; installation of new wet well lid; installation of concrete platform for package lift station; installation of package pump station to be furnished by the Owner; installation of float control measures to be furnished by the Owner, including connecting wiring into pump control panel; Alternate #1 (if selected): lining of the wet well interior; installation of wet well aeration system, concrete pad, and aeration piping; installation of new LP tank, concrete pad, and LP tubing; installation of new force main piping, fittings, and valves where indicated on the plans; installation of pipe bollard; trenching, backfill, and compaction; installation of ESC controls; and all incidental work required to complete the Project, as shown in the Drawings and described in the Contract Documents. The work for Contract No. 2: Electrical Construction generally includes removal of existing low voltage service raceways and wiring that are no longer intended for use; removal and storage of existing automatic transfer switch and Omnisite unit; removal of existing pump control panel and all associated raceways/wiring; removal of junction box and associated raceways and wiring; installation of new electrical service entrance equipment, including strut rack and cantilevered canopy with fusible heavy duty safety switch; installation of conduit/wiring; installation of mounting supports and hardware to mount the aeration motor control panel; installation of mounting supports and hardware to mount the reinstalled Omnisite unit; installation of seal off fittings; reinstall automatic transfer switch on strut rack and cantilevered canopy with non-fused heavy duty safety switch painting of mounting equipment/hardware; and all incidental work.
