Dollar General Lift Station
As part of the project, the current station will remain in place during construction. The upgrades to the system will include a new influent gravity sewer into the wet well, new pumps, piping, and appurtenances will be placed withing the existing wet well but, a new valve vault structure will be installed. The project will also involve the installation of a new electrical system, controls, and an on-site emergency generator. Additionally, the site will gain a curb cut from hwy 321 to the driveway, to improve access and maintenance for city staff. California street pump station will also receive new pumps and electrical components as a part of this project.
