Description: LA DOTD is seeking construction work to replace the Lock No. 3 Road Bridge in St. Tammany Parish. The work includes clearing and grubbing; removing the existing concrete-and-timber-pile bridge; grading, drainage, Class II base course, and asphalt concrete pavement; and constructing a concrete slab-span bridge using precast concrete piles. Related work is included, and the estimated construction cost is $1 million to $2.5 million.

Schuchart Road Bridge RFP
The scope of work includes removal of the bridge (3 large corrugated steel culvert pipes) on road and provides for excavations, pile driving, bridge construction, embankments, asphalt paving, pavement striping, guard rail, traffic control, erosion control and other incidental items and work. For a contractor to be awarded this project the contractor must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission at least 7 days prior to the bid opening date. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction.
